The sport of Strongman continues to grow because it is an exciting combination of power/strength and athleticism. We have spent years training and learning the sport together, and as two teachers, sharing our expertise and knowledge around the sport is one of our greatest joys.
Isabelle is a Certified USA Powerlifting Club Coach and a 11 time World Champion Powerlifter. She competes for the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) and USA Powerlifting. Isabelle's passion is powerlifting. She loves to compete and she loves to teach. Whether you're a veteran or a newbie to powerlifting, she's eager to share her knowledge.
After suffering from her own health struggles, Connie dove down a rabbit hole she couldn’t return from. Seeing so many people suffering from these unknown or mystery illnesses or fatigue with little to no answers. After countless hours of continuing education and mentorships, Connie has now made it her mission to help others have a quality understanding of their health.
Connie has been competitive in many realms of athletics from bodybuilding and powerlifting to endurance, she understands the needs of not only general population individuals, but also the athlete as well.
In 2013, Rachel became the youngest person in USA Weightlifting (USAW) history to head coach an international team. A national coach for USAW and Club Coach for USA Powerlifting, she is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS-NSCA) and runs a variety of strength sport events for powerlifting, weightlifting, and grip sport.
Liane Blyn has over 20 years of experience as a strength coach, athletic trainer, business owner and international competitor. She is currently the Director of Sports Performance- Olympic Sports at Arizona State University. Liane is a 14x USA Powerlifting Drug free National Champion, 10x National team member, 4x IPF World Champion, 3-time World Games competitor as well as a world record holder in the bench, deadlift & total. Liane has also represented to United States in the 2003 ESPN’s World Strongest Woman Competition.
Heather is a gym and restaurant owning, homeschooling, and elite athlete momma and wife! She loves living life to the fullest and loving as many people along the way that she can. Empowering others to be the best version of themselves and living up to their fullest potential are everyday goals!!! Heather is a Certified Sports Nutritionist, Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Adaptive Special Needs Nutrition and Strength Training, among many other certifications.
Sophia graduated from Northeastern University in 2015 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and minor in psychology. Following graduation, she continued her formal education through Northeastern’s College of Professional Studies, earning advanced credentials in orthopedic physical therapy. While at Northeastern, Sophia participated on the club wrestling and powerlifting teams. Finishing her collegiate athletic career as a NCWA National Champion wrestler, 3x USAPL All-American powerlifter and IPF Collegiate World Champion powerlifter. Outside of physical therapy and powerlifting, Sophia empowers others through progressive education, helping fitness and rehab professionals improve their management of clients with pain or mobility limitations. Through the company Barbell Rehab, she released an online course addressing the Unique Considerations of the Female Barbell Athlete and serves as a course instructor for the Barbell Rehab Method Certification. Sophia also lectures on related topics at USAPL seminars and camps, teaching athletes how to improve their training and recovery, while coaching them up to a bigger bench press.
Amy is an adjunct faculty member of Spokane Falls Community College, teaching Introduction to Orthopedics to the 2nd year physical therapy assistant students. She has also been a guest speaker for Eastern Washington University’s physical therapy and athletic training program, teaching pelvic floor in multiple settings.
Amy is board certified in Orthopaedics and has built a successful Pelvic Floor program for women and men at Apex Physical Therapy. She received the inaugural certification in 2014 as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Danna is the organizer of this event. She has been involved in powerlifting since 1997. She is the Washington State USA Powerlifting State Chair, State Chair Committee Chair, and a member of the USA Powerlifting Women's Hall of Fame. Danna is passionate about encouraging women to get into strength sports. Not only was she the meet director for one of the largest powerlifting events in history in 2018, she also runs the largest female only powerlifting event in the country, as well as more than 7 other powerlifting events every year.
