Alyssa is a powerlifting coach and athlete, kinesiology professor, researcher of resistance training and metabolism in women, and an avid Swiftie. Her passion is in educating athletes and coaches on effective strategies to elevate performance, teaching the younger generation of exercise science students, and investigating the impact of strength training on performance and long term health in women. Alyssa owns a powerlifting education and coaching company called Ladybeef Strength Co. that was first established in 2013, and is a powerlifting coach and sport scientist with The Strength Guys. A fun fact about Alyssa is she started out as a competitive baton twirler, but later on traded that bar for a slightly heavier one (that’s a lot harder to throw!).
Ally is a strength athlete and coach with a background in StrongWoman, Powerlifting, and Highland Games. She is a heavyweight competitor who believes in the importance of strength and health for all, regardless of size or gender. Ally, along with Ashlee Harold, founded the Titus Strong Friends Group, a class and community that promotes inclusivity and provides opportunities for individuals to participate in the sport of Strongman. Ally has competed at various levels in Strongman and Powerlifting, from local to international competitions, and values the camaraderie within the strength community. Her motto, “TAKE UP SPACE,” encourages everyone to embrace their strength and presence.
Ashlee discovered a passion for Strongman in 2018. She’s competed in both the 64kg and 73kg weight classes and is a 2x Arnold Amateur Strongman World Championship invitee. Alongside Ally Abbs, Ashlee coaches a weekly Strong Friends class, with the shared goal of encouraging inclusivity in the world of Strongman.
Tracy found her passion for strength training in 2012 at the age of 42 when she began training with kettlebells. She competed in her first powerlifting meet in 2015 and fell in love with the sport. Tracy earned a spot on the 2020 USAPL Masters National Team and is a 2x USAPL Masters National Champion. She is a StrongFirst Certified Level 2 Kettlebell Instructor and a StrongFirst Certified Barbell Instructor. She is currently a coach, referee and meet director with USAPL and is involved in the sport of powerlifting in any way that she can be. She loves to share what she has learned with other women through coaching and teaching workshops. Nothing makes her happier than helping others to experience how empowering strength training can be and seeing their eyes light up when they do something that they never thought they could.
Heather is a gym and restaurant owning, homeschooling, and elite athlete momma and wife! She loves living life to the fullest and loving as many people along the way that she can. Empowering others to be the best version of themselves and living up to their fullest potential are everyday goals!!! Heather is a Certified Sports Nutritionist, Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Adaptive Special Needs Nutrition and Strength Training, among many other certifications.
Sophia graduated from Northeastern University in 2015 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and minor in psychology. Following graduation, she continued her formal education through Northeastern’s College of Professional Studies, earning advanced credentials in orthopedic physical therapy. While at Northeastern, Sophia participated on the club wrestling and powerlifting teams. Finishing her collegiate athletic career as a NCWA National Champion wrestler, 3x USAPL All-American powerlifter and IPF Collegiate World Champion powerlifter. Outside of physical therapy and powerlifting, Sophia empowers others through progressive education, helping fitness and rehab professionals improve their management of clients with pain or mobility limitations. Through the company Barbell Rehab, she released an online course addressing the Unique Considerations of the Female Barbell Athlete and serves as a course instructor for the Barbell Rehab Method Certification. Sophia also lectures on related topics at USAPL seminars and camps, teaching athletes how to improve their training and recovery, while coaching them up to a bigger bench press.
Isabelle is a Certified USA Powerlifting Club Coach and a 12 time World Champion Powerlifter. She competes for the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) and USA Powerlifting. Isabelle's passion is powerlifting. She loves to compete and she loves to teach. Whether you're a veteran or a newbie to powerlifting, she's eager to share her knowledge.
Danna is the organizer of this event. She has been involved in powerlifting since 1997. She is the Washington State USA Powerlifting State Chair, State Chair Committee Chair, and a member of the USA Powerlifting Women's Hall of Fame. Danna is passionate about encouraging women to get into strength sports. Not only was she the meet director for one of the largest powerlifting events in history in 2018, she also runs the largest female only powerlifting event in the country, as well as more than 8 other powerlifting events every year.
